Fireball's Heart

"I don't believe that your people tell the truth all the time," laughs Strong Buffalo. (l 1,2 p 12)

I read Fireball's Heart written by Herbert Puchta.  In this book, the main characters are Chief Strong Buffalo and Chief Wise Owl. I think the main topic of this book is telling truth. One day they are sitting round a fire and talking together. Chief Wise Owl thinks everyone tell the truth. Chief Strong Buffalo doesn't think so. Wise have a favorite horse, and Dark Eyes take care of that. They loved the horse very much. The other day, Dark Eyes meets a woman named Blue Feather. She is ill and she need the help. She asked Dark Eyes to help her. He wants to help her, but there is a big problem. She needs his favorite horse's heart to cure her illness! If he kill the favorite horse, Chief Wise Owl may be sad or angry with that. Should he tell a lie or not? How Dark Eyes solve this problem...??

If I were Dark Eyes, I would like to tell the truth. This is because a friendship is important to me. How about you?
